Chilla is made from gram flour batter, one cup of besan/gram flour (92 g) has 21 g protein with 41.4 mg of calcium, 4.5 mg of iron, 152.7 mg of magnesium, 0.5 mg of vitamin B6, and 10 g of dietary fiber; whereas one cup of whole wheat flour (120 g) has 16 g protein content with moderate increase in the nutrient content of magnesium and dietary fiber; moreover besan is a gluten-free flour.
For the chilla/gram flour pancake, I mixed the gram flour batter with powerful ingredients which made it exceptionally nutrient rich, and an optimum breakfast food.
