Indian Gooseberry has a mix of strong flavors – bitter and sour in 50 -50 combination, it is difficult to consume this fruit in its natural state for non-diabetics and children. I decided for a simple technique to consume this fruit in a sweet form – the process of making amla sweet takes the duration of 2 days however the method is super easy, this technique reduces the bitter flavor to an extreme extent though still retaining the maximum nutrient content of the fruit.
