Make Fermented Food of Rice Cake for stronger immunity – Idli Batter Recipe

Steaming Idlis:

  • Pour adequate quantity of water in the idli steamer, warm the water,
  • Pour the required quantity of batter in each idli mould of the idli plate, after the mould is oiled at its surface,
  • Place the idli mould plates in the steamer, close the steamer with its lid,
  • Steam the batter for idli in medium heat for approx. 5 minutes or until the steamer has a clear continuous whistle,
  • Remove the idli plates from the steamer, after the idlis are cooled to room temperature, gently slide the idlis from the idli mouldĀ  with the help of a spoon.
