Popcorns for snack is a healthy concept especially the fresh ones made at home – to be sure, to make popcorn the Zea mays everta variety of maize is used, this particular variety of corn kernel has the ability to pop.
Popcorn has a high content of several important nutrients, such as vitamins, minerals and polyphenol antioxidants; and is one of the world’s best sources of fiber. (Source of Information: healthline)
Take a thick, wide bottom utensil; to adequate quantity of warm, any mild-flavour vegetable oil, add the corn kernels, close the utensil with a thick lid to remain slightly open for steam to pass through; once the corn kernels begin to pop in medium flame – reduce the heat to low and let all the corn kernels pop for approx. 15 minutes.

I had divided a packet of 250gm of corn kernels into two portions; I poured chocolate syrup for flavour, and in the other portion, I blended the warm popcorns with butter – according to preference of flavor.
Serving size: approx. 2 for each portion
