Simple yet Lush Beetroot Pulao/Rice Recipe:

Quantity of kolam or basmati rice: approx. 250 gm

In adequate quantity of warm sunflower oil or any other mild-flavour vegetable oil, add pieces of an entire medium star anise and mince of a medium beetroot; blend the mix with finely sliced pieces of a green chilli for mild-pungent flavour – optional (these chillies are small and extremely slender, having fresh pungent flavour), smidgen the mix with salt – according to preference of flavour, blend the mix with 2 small cups of kolam rice, add 3 small cups of water to cook the rice, cook the rice by covering the utensil with a lid and until the water evaporates.

This pulao has lush combine flavour of star anise and beetroot.

Recipe of Fabulous Chicken Gravy:

Quantity of chicken meat: ½ kg

Curry Paste/Sauce: Grind slices of a big onion, slices of a big tomato and a cheese cube into thick sauce

Sauté the sauce until it turns thick in consistency, in adequate quantity of warm rice bran oil; smidgen the mix with salt – according to preference of taste, blend the sauce with chicken meat pieces, add the mix with ¼ tsp. of turmeric powder and ½ tsp. of kashmiri chilli powder, add ½ a glass of water for thick gravy, blend the mix with a handful of dried fenugreek leaves/kasuri methi and cook the mixture until the chicken meat pieces turn tender.

This gravy is remarkable in taste, having the merge flavour of all the ingredients.

∗ Kashmiri chilli powder gives food soft red colour with diminutive amount of pungency, you can also opt to use any other chilli powder according to preference of flavour.

Recipe of Green Chicken Gravy:

Quantity of chicken: ½ kg  of chicken meat

Quantity of spinach leaves: 2 generous handfuls of spinach leaves

Sauce: Grind slices of a two medium tomatoes, slices of 1 medium onion and a cheese cube into thick sauce.

Spinach puree: Blanch the spinach leaves by immersing spinach leaves in adequate quantity of water, set the dish on heat until the water turns reasonably warm, strain the spinach leaves; grind sliced pieces of  spinach leaves into thick puree.

Sauté the sauce in adequate of warm, any mild-flavour vegetable oil until the sauce condenses to a reasonable thickness, blend the sauce with chicken meat pieces, smidgen the mix with salt – according to preference of flavour, blend the mix with ¼ tsp. of turmeric powder and ½ tsp. of kashmiri chilli powder (kashmiri chilli powder gives food soft red colour with diminutive amount of pungency – you can also opt to use any other chilli powder according to preference of flavour); when the chicken pieces turn tender, add the spinach puree and simmer the combination for approximate 5 minutes.

Green chicken with super-food spinach is a delicious gravy with luxurious flavour.

Recipe of Chicken in Herb Gravy:

Quantity of chicken: ½ a kg of chicken meat (preferably boneless pieces of chicken)

For curry or gravy paste: Grind slices of 5 medium tomatoes, sliced pieces of a generous handful of  coriander leaves, and pieces of a green chilli – for mild-pungent flavour (these chillies are small and extremely slender, having fresh pungent flavour) into thick sauce.

Saute the curry paste in adequate of warm, any mild-flavour vegetable oil until the curry paste condenses to a reasonable degree, smidgen the mix  with salt – according to preference of flavour, add the chicken pieces to the curry paste, blend the chicken curry with a cheese cube and ¼ tsp. of turmeric powder, mix the mixture with adequate quantity of water – according to the consistency of curry/gravy you prefer; cook the mixture until the chicken pieces turn tender.

This delicious and nutritious coriander chicken curry has pleasant-fresh herb taste of the coriander leaves.
