An Easy Recipe to Cook Powerfully-Nutritious SPINACH with Super Proteins for Breakfast or as Side Dish

Spinach has a high nutritional value, especially when fresh, frozen, steamed, or quickly boiled. Spinach is a rich source of vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin K, magnesium, manganese, iron and folate; and a good source of the B vitamins – riboflavin and vitamin B6, vitamin E, calcium, potassium, and dietary fiber.

In this easy recipe for breakfast or side dish, I melded the nutrient-rich, green leaf vegetable of spinach with egg –  a source of significant amounts of protein and choline, to create a nutritious and tasty egg scramble.

An Easy Recipe to Cook Powerfully-Nutritious Spinach with Super Proteins for Breakfast or as Side Dish:

  • Sauté sliced pieces of a generous handful of spinach leaves in adequate quantity of warm ghee (clarified butter) until it condenses into thick gravy like consistency, blend whisked  eggs (2) with the spinach gravy, add a pinch of turmeric powder to the mix, and smidgen the mix with salt – according to preference of flavour; cook the mixture until it thickens.

Serving size: approx. 2
