Vegetarian Special Gravy: Flavoursome Aagri Soy Meat – Recipe

The Recipe:

Quantity of mini soy meat/soya chunks: 100 g

Cook the soy meat according to the package instructions

  • Sauté finely sliced pieces of 2 big onions in adequate quantity of  warm, any mild-flavour oil ( I had used sunflower oil), add mashed pieces of 7-8 garlic cloves to the mixture; smidgen the mixture with salt – according to preference of flavour,
  • Blend the translucent onion mix with finely sliced pieces of 2 medium tomatoes, and a generous handful of finely sliced pieces of coriander leaves,
  • Combine the melted mixture with cooked, warm mini soy meat; blend the mixture with ¼ tsp. of turmeric powder, and ½ tsp. of aagri masala for mild-pungent flavour – this spice mix  is fantastically flavourful and has a moderate level of pungency,
  • Add ½ a glass of water to the mixture, and cook the mixture in medium heat until the water evaporates imparting thick gravy to the soy meat.

Serving size: Approximately 3-4
