Ginger is a flowering plant whose rhizome, ginger root or simply ginger, is widely used as a spice for cooking; ginger also has a role in traditional Ayurvedic medicine.
Ginger has an incomparable flavour that really does not require any other ingredient along with it to flavour food; here’s a recipe to indulge in this root vegetable’s flavour with chicken meat.

Quantity: 12 pieces of chicken wings/chicken lollipop pieces
¤ Marinate the chicken pieces for at least 15 to 20 minutes in a marinade of: 2 eggs – whisked, very finely sliced pieces of a green chilli or more according to preference of flavour (these chillies are tiny and slender, with fresh pungent flavour), a very large portion of a ginger root – finely mashed, a pinch of turmeric powder, and salt according to preference of flavour.
¤ Coat these marinated pieces in a mixture of: 1 full teacup of wheat flour and ½ a teacup of semolina, a pinch of turmeric powder.
¤ Fry these pieces in a shallow pan with adequate quantity of warm, any mild-flavour, vegetable oil; in medium to low heat for less than 5 minutes.
Wishing You a Very Wonderful Day
Ginger is much used for cooking in our part of the world!
