Green capsicum have a lovely, fresh, mild spicy flavour and prawns have a natural mild sweet flavour – with the smidgen of masalas (spice powders) and curry leaves the blend of green capsicum and prawns is exceptional.
The Recipe :
- Sauté finely sliced pieces of (3 small) onions in adequate quantity of rice bran oil.
- Blend the translucent onion slices with finely sliced pieces of (3 medium) capsicums, finely sliced pieces of (3 medium) tomatoes and mashed pieces of (10 to 12) garlic cloves.
- Flavour the mixture with a tsp. of kashmiri chilli powder and ½ tsp. of garam masala and add salt according to your preference of taste.
- Combine marinated prawns ( – about 2 handfuls of prawns marinated in a tsp. of turmeric powder) with the melted mixture, add adequate quantity of water to form gravy, add finely sliced pieces of curry leaves, and cook the combination until the prawns are tender.

Hmmm..might we switch Prawns with fish slices? Do you think it will be ok for taste still?

Capsicum and prawns is a very good combination, I will definitely not combine capsicum with fish slices with the ingredients I have used in this recipe. May be I will experiment with the ingredients, I might use some other ingredients and combine capsicum with fish slices.
