Poha is flat light dry flakes of rice which ironically contains about 20 mg of iron in every 100 g of its raw flakes.
A pleasant recipe to prepare poha:
- Fry finely sliced onions in ghee.
- Add salt and finely sliced tomatoes to it.
- Enrich the melted mixture with pieces of ham and finely chopped coriander leaves.
- Add a pinch of turmeric powder to this mixture.
- Soak poha in water and immediately add the squeezed poha to the mixture.
Happy Eating! (Well, it’s scrumptious)
